Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Skanda Interior Designers Tirupati. By accepting our quotation and engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are binding upon both parties without requiring a separate signature or additional documentation.
1. Scope of Services
- Skanda Interior Designers will provide interior design, renovation, and installation services as per the agreed quotation.
- Any changes or additional requests beyond the agreed scope will be subject to revised timelines and additional costs.
2. Quotation and Payment Terms
- The quoted price is valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. Beyond this period, a new quotation may be required.
- A minimum of 50% of the total project cost must be paid in advance before work begins.
- The remaining payment schedule will be outlined in the quotation, and all payments must be cleared as per the agreed milestones.
- Delayed payments will attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- All material warranties and activations are held by Skanda Interior Designers until full payment is completed. Post-completion support will not be provided in cases of pending payments.
3. Project Timelines
- While Skanda Interior Designers aims to adhere to the timeline provided in the quotation, unforeseen delays due to external factors such as material availability, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control will not be considered a breach of agreement.
4. Client Responsibilities
- The client is responsible for providing unhindered access to the site during working hours and ensuring the property is ready for work to commence.
- Any pre-existing structural issues, electrical faults, or plumbing concerns must be resolved by the client prior to the initiation of our services.
- Skanda Interior Designers is not responsible for damages to the property that occurred before the commencement of work or for damages arising during the work due to the property’s building quality or any other construction-related reasons.
5. Material and Workmanship
- Materials and finishes will be as specified in the approved design and quotation. Any changes requested by the client after project commencement will be charged additionally.
- Skanda Interior Designers ensures quality workmanship, but minor variations in color, texture, or finish due to natural materials or manufacturing processes will not be considered defects.
6. Use of Property Images
- By accepting our services, the client grants Skanda Interior Designers the right to capture images of the property before, during, and after the work.
- These images may be used by Skanda Interior Designers for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, and presentations.
- The client agrees to this condition upon engaging our services and waives any claims for royalties or compensation for such use.
7. Warranty and Liability
- A limited warranty of six months is provided for workmanship defects, starting from the project completion date.
- The warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or damages caused by external factors such as pests, water leakage, or structural issues in the property.
- Skanda Interior Designers is not liable for any loss or damage caused due to delays, acts of God, or third-party contractors.
8. Communication Protocol
- Clients are required to communicate exclusively with the allotted project manager for any requirements, clarifications, or updates.
- Communication with on-site staff or workers is strictly prohibited. Skanda Interior Designers will not hold any responsibility for instructions or requests made directly to the working staff.
- Clients are requested to contact our team only during standard working hours. For any communication outside these hours, prior arrangements should be made.
9. Behavior and Conduct
- Clients are not allowed to argue with the team without documented evidence of dissatisfaction or issues. Threatening, harassing, or engaging in rude behavior with the team is strictly prohibited.
- In case of such behavior, Skanda Interior Designers reserves the right to halt all work immediately, and no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
10. Non-Solicitation of Staff
- Clients are not permitted to independently engage or hire Skanda Interior Designers’ staff for any additional work during or after the project.
- Any attempt to do so will be considered a breach of contract and may lead to legal action.
- Skanda Interior Designers is not responsible for any agreements or transactions made directly between the client and any staff member outside the scope of our services.
11. Additional Work
- Any extra work that deviates from the originally discussed quotation will be charged extra as per the prevailing labor and material charges.
12. Post-Completion Ethical Requests
- Clients are encouraged to allow prospective clients of Skanda Interior Designers to visit their completed project within three months of project completion.
- Visits will be scheduled based on the client’s convenience and availability and are considered an ethical practice to assist future clients.
13. Intellectual Property
- All designs, plans, and concepts provided by Skanda Interior Designers are the intellectual property of the company and cannot be replicated or used elsewhere without written consent.
14. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved amicably through discussion. If unresolved, the matter will be subject to arbitration under Indian law.
By proceeding with the project, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions. Skanda Interior Designers Tirupati reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
